Welcome to my ship modelling website, thank you for visiting. 

I’ve been scratch-building ship models for over 25 years, initially as a form of relaxation, but since I retired, it’s become a full-time passion.  Over those years, I’ve accumulated dozens of rare reference books and plans, 1,000’s of files, created hundreds of 3D models and drawn some unique model boat plans.

I build models to my own plans using traditional methods, mostly in wood and metal using techniques that go back to the last century. If your passion is model making from styrene (and I’ve seen many amazing models made this way), I can’t help you.  

Much of the knowledge and material I’ve accumulated is on this website and some 3D models and 2D drawings will soon be available to purchase. You will also find the stories of my builds and other maritime information that I hope you will find interesting and possibly even educational, please enjoy!
